Living Mandarin生活華語
#LM1X3~ #LM4X3, Level I to IV Living Mandarin is for students with some exposure to Mandarin through a Mandarin-speaking environment at home. This courses teaches students Mandarin through listening, speaking, and singing. Students develop the ability to speak, recognize, and write Chinese characters.
『生活華語』課程乃由教育部與僑委會輔導出版，專為外籍學童與海外僑胞使用。此教材
- 第一項特色是：每課均有看圖說故事與音樂CD課本念唱，採用「以說聽為導向的混合教學法」，由「聽說唱」導出「讀寫作」。
- 第二項特色是：運用台灣高科技研發「E-Pen」電腦光碟，將「認讀漢字」與「手寫漢字」兩項活動分開，降低每冊的習寫字數，增加認讀字數。
- 第三項特色是：創作編寫著重於實用與美感兼具的詩文與歌謠。
- 第四項特色是：台灣文化與各地中華文化兼容並包。音標方面，採用台灣通用拼音加註中國漢語拼音。
CSL (Chinese as Second Language)
LC002(age 2+), LC0P1 & LC0P2(age 3+) , LC0K1 & LC0K2(age 4+) CSL is for students with a non-Mandarin speaking environment at home. Students learn through listening, speaking, and singing. Students develop the ability to speak and recognize Chinese characters.
The 『My First Chinese Words–快樂幼兒華語』curriculum used by Taiwan School is designed to help children learn Chinese as a foreign or second language. Upon completion of this class, students will recognize basic Chinese characters and sentence patterns. Compiled by education experts and experienced teachers, 『My First Chinese Words』 offers high impact learning by guiding young learners through situational themes, with colorful and engaging illustrations that they can easily relate to. Not only will students learn effectively, but they will also have fun while learning–one of the most powerful motivations of all!
Taiwanese 台語
LT0X1 & LT0X2(children), LT0A3(adult) Taiwan School offers Taiwanese language classes for students of all ages who would like to understand and speak Taiwanese. Our 『Hoklo Taiwanese』 course uses the tones of direct phonics and cartoons to engage the imagination of our students. The class starts with daily life rhymes, extends to Taiwanese language and words, and then uses musical rhymes and hand gestures to teach the tones of the Taiwanese language. The course material is well structured, balanced, lively, and interesting.
『福佬台語』採用直接拼讀法，並採用發明家劉興欽的漫畫，陪養學童的想像力。從日常生活唸謠出發，延伸出台語及語詞，再從音樂性唸謠，延伸出台語的聲調手勢，全書結構均衡，活潑有趣。
